MBLAQ (엠블랙, abbreviation of Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a boy band that was produced by famous R & B singer Rain. Of five members, among others, Seung Ho, Lee Joon, GO, Cheundung, and Mir. Mblaq itself is under the umbrella of Jtunes Entertainment, which is an agency established by Rain. This group began to emerge to the public on October 9, 2009, and then released the debut single composition, "Oh yeah", on October 4, 2009. Mblaq is one band that has been awaited him before his debut. One of the factors that influence is Cheundung, whose real name is Park Sang Hyun is the younger brother of one of the members of the female singer group 2NE1, Sandara Park.

Anggotanya berjumlah lima orang, antara lain Seung Ho, Lee Joon, GO,
Cheundung, dan Mir. Mblaq sendiri juga berada dibawah payung Jtunes
Entertainment, yaitu sebuah agensi yang didirikan sendiri oleh Rain.
Grup ini mulai muncul ke hadapan publik pada 9 Oktober 2009, dan
kemudian merilis komposisi tunggal perdananya, “Oh yeah”,
pada 4 Oktober 2009. Mblaq adalah salah satu band yang telah ditunggu
kehadirannya sebelum debut. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi adalah
Cheundung, yang bernama asli Park Sang Hyun merupakan adik dari salah
satu anggota grup penyanyi wanita 2NE1, Sandara Park.
MBLAQ telah menjalankan training selama dua tahun,
sebelum akhirnya melakukan debut pada Oktober 2009. Sebelum debut pun,
anggota Mblaq sudah berkecimpung dibidang entertain. Salah satunya
adalah Lee Joon, yang pernah bermain dalam film Ninja Assasin bersama sang Presiden Rain. Lee Joon berperan sebagai Raizo, atau tepatnya Rain versi muda. Anggota lain yang sudah tidak asing, adalah Jung Byung Hee atau G.O yang pernah tergabung dalam trio TY KEYS pada tahun 2007 lalu. Selain itu, anggota yang bernama Bang Chul Yong atau yang lebih dikenal dengan nama Mir juga tidak telepas dari kesuksesan sang kakak perempuannya yang merupakan artis ternama Go Eun Ah. Chun Doong atau biasa akrab disebut Thunder, adalah adik dari Sandara
Park (2NE1).
